Lincoln has no read progression. Got away with one in the first. Hope that improves or it will cause some trouble.
Tre could have done cartwheels to the end zone on that open deep ball.
Really hope to see more Foley and Skinner. Underneath stuff is great for a QB that moves the pocket.

I think this receiving core may actually be pretty special.

Defense
Koen is everywhere and so much fun to watch.
The D-tackles holding their own is a testament to Mark Ivey.
This defense will keep us in games.
Is anything more debilitating than a late hit on a get-off-the-field third down?
Lubin is so fun to root for.
Trinidad’s deep ball is legit!

Special Teams
You never want to know the long snapper’s name.
At the game it was so confusing that they didn’t get the ball down at the 4 in the 2nd quarter. Looked like a great punt!
The delayed run-out punt may be the most subtle but effective advantage in special teams’ way to punt. I never want a traditional punter again.
Them missing 2 kicks and our special teams fiasco almost feels like a wash.
Didn’t know Hilbert’s dad kicked for UofL! Hope we got a gamer!
I would be perfectly fine if we never try a kick return again (unless trailing late). It feels like injury or penalty much more often than big plays.
One Last Thought
There was plenty to like, plenty to clean up, and no reason to let one game linger any longer than it should.
Time to bounce back, get right and keep rolling.
